MBritt Profiles Demo of the Copper JMI Pack, featuring profiles of a 1962 Vox AC30 (non-top-boost) combo. This amp may be my favorite amp in a long time. The simple controls (only a volume and cut knob) keep it super simple and full sounding, without a bunch of overlapping eq curves. This results in a rich, creamy tone that goes seamless from crisp and clean to beautiful, touch-sensitive edge-of-breakup, to full-throated, smooth overdrive saturation. Rigs from this amp have already made their way into my favorite live rigs. The amp was profiled using both the stock 212 combo cab loaded with Celestion Blues as well as my usual 3P cab with a CL80 speaker. It includes a variety of Liquid Profiles as well as Generic Profiles made at different amp settings. The Performances also contain some interesting fx (showcased in video). I just wanted to demo some of the guitar tones I'm using on this year's tour with Lonestar. I'm still using the Kemper Stage for live shows but I've started using an overdrive pedal (Rockett GTO pedal) in the fx loop. I just did it to try it out and it's totally not necessary but I've been happy with the results. This demo also shows my use of fx on some of the songs. A lot of songs are pretty dry so I didn't show each of those songs but wanted to capture the fx and what they sound like on their own without the band around them.
This is a quick and dirty audio demo of the rigs included in the new MBritt Profile Player Pack. These 25 rigs are basically a "greatest hits" of some of the best profiles I've done over the last 10 years. The new Profile Player by Kemper is limited to 50 rigs at a time, so I had to really think about what was necessary and ended up with my favorites. It's a perfect introduction for those new to Kemper who want a great playing experience without fishing through thousands of rigs. Most of the fx in this pack are pretty bare bones, just a compressor, delay, and reverb on most of them. There are a handful of other basic fx like chorus, tremolo, rotary speaker, etc. sprinkled in as well, but it's predominantly about the amp/cab and what works best for live performance and recording. Also in the pack are 89 Rigs from 6 different amps, based on the smooth sounds of CA amps from the 60's-90's. It has everything from clean to crunchy to lead tones and covers most any gig from country to jazz to classic rock. Inside are some of my favorite new profiles, included a 90's MeBo MKIII, 63 B Master, and two really nice sounding Twins. Sound Demo Video for MBritt Profiles' New EL84 Pack for the Kemper Profiling Amp. This pack includes 100 profiles of 3 great-sounding EL84 Class A amps. These audio/video demos are strictly made to highlight the sounds available. There is no outboard processing in the clips and they were recorded through the analog XLR inputs into ProTools via a UA Apollo 8 interface.
